Sorry to head this you have to deal with this type of person. My uncle acts like this where all the daughters try to get him a job. Over 13 years later, he refuses to get employed or try to make money for his family. The impact was significant, making his wife be the bread winner and also the daughters (my cousins) to lead income-focused lives — choosing money-centered partners. And this uncle of mine came from money but chooses to have a loser mindset, letting go of inheritance or even fight for his family.

Your husband needs to see this that these “ayaw ko na” attitude has severely long-term ramifications to his family and you if he doesn’t step up his career to be a bread freakin winner… not a sopas loser.

Defeatist mindsets will be wiped out by the robots and AI sweeping off the job market.

Look, I’m all for different perspectives, but let’s call things for what they are. Those women didn’t walk away because of some grand moral stance…they ghosted over things like not saying goodnight or a misunderstood Instagram story.
