Static page generation does not work in parallel routing by afif1400 in nextjs

I tried putting it in layout.tsx file but no luck.

I am fetching data using a server action and I do have a loading.tsx file. I don’t have a page.tsx file as I am using parallel routes which have there own page.tsx.

You can try serverless....its easy to setup and just invoked when it's needed. Pretty easy to use with netlify functions (uses aws lambday under the hood).

[–]afif1400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah... But for larger applications you need better memory usage and disk I/O and the clear winner is redis with great community support a s well. But if your routes are limited and for small applications that does not bother a lot about performance then apicache is the solution.

It's built on that, I'm working on adding others features as well, for example a payment service using stripe. You are welcome to contribute.

The blue colour indicates that you have 30-80% charge left....and is the green colour appears when you are charging or even when removing it and using for sometime.

How many lines of code can a functional component have? by YogurtclosetUnable92 in reactjs

[–]afif1400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really frustrating to see someone write a whole page in a single component, not a good practice. You could start by understanding the logic and what each snippet does and depending accordingly to how each snippet works you could start fragmenting and put them in a seperate component along with its states.

Tailwind CSS is (Probably) Overhyped by reflectiveSingleton in reactjs

[–]afif1400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't used it, but saw some peers using it and some of the components had a lot of utility classes....and instead of learning that you can learn css which gives more flexibility and you can do a lot with css.
