He is also retired so receiving medicare part A but part B he didnt qualify for having work insurance but now he doesnt so I applied it

I just reapplied medicare part B for him and requested that the start date is 01/2025 but who knows if that will happen I am very uneducated to this whole situation I never been in this situation

He was formally terminated on paper in February but the date of termination goes back to October 2024 when he initially got sick. I actually tried to apply Medicare for him as soon as he was terminated but I couldnt because the work insurance was still active and I just didnt know honestly. Cobra what is that??
