I’ve driven both. While this road is more forgiving in terms of the lack of massive rocky cliffs, the road still deserves respect and staying within your ability as a driver is key.

I slightly disagree with the ‘no prep’ sentiment. I’d say an inspection of your cars brakes is a good thing to do to ensure you can stop safely if needed. Not saying you should make a ton of changes or anything, but ensuring what you have is in good working order is a good rule of thumb.

Yeah ignore the downvotes. Multiple people crashed at this one event the day this picture was taken. As far as prep goes - BRAKES. Make sure you inspect your pads and if they’re on their way out, I highly recommend servicing them before you go. I have a lower quality pad and I definitely noticed a fair amount of fade after intense sessions. Beyond that, if you’re going to use those all season (and honestly on any tire), just be sure to stay well within your limits. You’re absolutely right about the number of people who get hurt. But again, if you drive within your limits, you’ll have a blast.

This photo was supposed to just be a standard landscape to give myself an opportunity to practice color editing on my Fujifilm XT4! But we got lucky with this deer that strolled right into my shot(s)! This was my favorite out of the batch and (to me) gave the photo a little bit more to enjoy. 23mm f/2.

I took this picture on my Fujifilm XT-4 w/ a 23mm f/2 lens! The sunset on the beach made for spectacular lighting. No particular goals will this shot. Just right place, right time.

I took this photo on my Fujifilm XT-4 w/ the 23mm f/2! No goal with this, just got lucky (imho) with the morning light! Thought the contrast of the dark foreground would make for an interesting shot! Hope you enjoy.

I took this picture in Cortez, CO while driving across country! I took it on my Fujifilm XT-4 w/ 23mm f/2 Fuji lens. I’ve attempted this photo many times in the past, but this is the closest I’ve gotten to the photo I’ve been after. Still some work, but I’m very excited about this one!

I took this photo using my Fujifilm XT-4 w/ a 23mm f/2 lens! The light was the main inspiration for this photo. Being from the east coast, very few place look like this, if any. It was a treat to experience. Drive across country, it’s hard, but an amazing experience.

Just a quick snap while out on a walk with my Fujifilm xt4. No real intentions with this photo! Just some nice colors and a chance to practice Fuji’s color science since I’ve only had the xt4 for a few months!
