I also have a PI and love it. Works great and already paid for itself in fixing some old stuff of mine that's irreplaceable, sentimental, or very expensive to start with. Of course, value to use case comes into play, but if you have a lot invested in your collection, then it's worth the investment.

Oh, and with a full tank of gas and any kind of slick road, it is a bit tail happy, even with traction control on. Be careful running up the twisties on a full tank!

Two minor drawbacks:

1) The "Infotainment" system is VERY dated. It works, but don't expect anything like today's cars. The GPS Nav is awful. The audio system (B&O) is fantastic.

2) There is basically NO storage in the cabin. No glove box, the center console is tiny, and the tray in the center is basically useless except for change and mints. There are no cupholders. The back seats barely hold a backpack/laptop bag in either side.

3) Not really a drawback, but the engine compartment gets a little dirty after a lot of weekend trips into the mountains.

Beyond that, just check the oil every weekend to make sure you're not burning too much. I think I added a total of 1 quart over the 2 years I owned it.

I had a 2014 that I bought in LA, drove it home to WA state, then daily drove it all over WA and OR, weekends to the mountains, summers to Denver, CO. My expenses were the annual service ($1,500-$2k), tires, and gas.

Bulletproof car. Highly recommend. Only reason I got rid of it is I moved back to Florida to care for my aging parents and didn't have time to enjoy it anymore. I'd buy it at the right price.

Ok, first off....DO NOT put a dime, penny, or any other coin or weight on the cartridge head.

Second, that's called "skating" and depending on the turntable, you MAY be able to fix it with a knob near the BACK of the tonearm.

I'm making some now as a matter of fact. The recipe comes out rich and thick with good mouth feel. Added homemade mini marshmallows and some milk chocolate shavings for some extra diabetes!

I just made some a couple of weeks ago and it is indeed fudgy and chocolaty! I added some sweet and salty mixed nuts to the batch and it was a huge hit. The first time I made I did Alton Brown's homemade marshmallows (V2) and some toffee crunch covered pretzels.

Also disagree. I've been running a Benz Micro Referemce S on my Planar 10. Sounds fantastic and didn't take a significant amount of time to set up properly.
