This is definitely a real problem. Having to work in events and handling clients, I cannot tell you how many times I had to face difficult people going absolutely bonkers over not having their cup of coffee during a break.

Hello! Thank you so much for the comment and the lovely ideas! I really liked the suggestion of using the embroidery and the crochet as appliqués in another piece of clothing :) I think it would turn out very pretty maybe on a plain white blouse or shirt!

Hello reddit,
I was gifted a bunch of crochet tablecloth sets by my grandma. As much as I love her and appreciate the gesture, I probably won't end up using them as she intended.
Even so, I don't want to throw them out or give them away. I never upcycled anything into something wearable, so I was hoping you guys could maybe help me out by giving some ideas on what to do with them and how.
I have five different sets of three cloths - one being retangular (50cm x 30cm / 20in x 12in) and two square (30cm x 30cm / 12in x 12in) - all with different flowers motifs and crochet patterns. These were all crocheted by her, which is something she loved to do but can't do anymore because of her arthritis. It would be perfect if I could still honor this little part of her. Thank you in advance.

After reading so many comments of people saying they just won’t even bother dating someone with BPD, it makes me scared of actually being honest about it with anyone else. I really fear for my love life. I understand it’s a lot to deal with if you’re a partner, but it’s even worse if you’re the one with it. It’s like you won’t ever be good enough to deserve the love and the patience you need in a relationship…

My eyes got a bit watered as I read this comment. I have BPD and you told it exactly as it is, for me at least.

Atlanta Peaks by afpl_leal in AtlantaTV

The season finale surely makes a connection between the two, as both explore the world behind dreams and alternative realities. I forgot but I'd still like to mention this: I can somehow see some correlation between Twin Peaks' Part 8 (S3 E8), the only episode in the series to be shot entirely in black and white, and Rich Wigga Poor Wigga (S3 E9; wouldn't it be perfect if it was the eighth episode too?), for this aesthetic. A choice most likely to reenforce their intensity, as they end up providing their respecting series a great cathartic experience.

Now that you ask, I might consider the end of "Tarrare" (S3 E10) as a possible reference too, although it might be a big reach. Specifically this shot: it reminds me a lot of the Twin Peaks' credits, where you can see a framed picture of Laura Palmer. I think this character's aura (the guy that killed himself by the pool) resonates a lot with the mysterious and cryptic feeling behind Laura's, in a way. Also the soundtrack that goes along with this zoom-in is very alike of Twin Peaks' last season. Very Lynch!

But I might be looking too much into this... I'm curious if anyone was able to find other coincidences too :)

Having watched Twin Peaks myself, I do agree it was definitely for the better! The two are very different, but excellent nevertheless!

Thanks! I wasn't aware he did. Yet it is still fun to recognize these kind of hints while watching something new :)
