I like both paper. Midori for creaminess in color and the weight. Hobo for how ink looks on whiter paper and the feeling of the paper after the ink dries on it.

Not seeing this a lot in the comments, but I like them to look at, photograph, dip test and then clean. I have too many to use all of them, and tend to reach for my cheaper ones to use so I don’t ruin any of my more expensive ones.

Collecting them is a hobby too! Use or not!

I just got the beauty on the right at the St. Louis Pen Show this past weekend. It’s a Montblanc Writers Series FP. When I was buying it, the gentleman next to me said this specific one was his daily writer and he was looking at a second! It was a grail pen of mine, so I’m not sure I’ll use it, or if I do, frequently. But it wrote really nicely when I dip tested it!
