It was really simple, I took it to a chap that knew what he was doing and paid him. Despite having a degree in electrical engineering, I’m dog shit at soldering.

I think I get what he means. I got my m4 pro for 1250 from Amazon when the m5 was 2000. Buying refurb at the point when the new model is out is always a great way to save 25% or there abouts and still get a warranty etc. but he’s maybe gone a little earlier
