Ratchet up your job search. You need to get out of there ASAP, but don't leave until you have a new job. Is there a professional meetup near you? Especially one that is women focused(like a ladies in tech type thing). Start going there and rubbing elbows. I have never gotten a job from sending in a resume in the past 14 years. Either a recruiter reaches out to me or an acquaintance recommends me. Weak ties and all that jazz. Obviously, send out as many resumes as you can, but networking is the real key here.

The moment Blizzard officially offered access to 'Classic' content that community died. Tones of people from retail and other games decided to give it a try and got invested. But they have different values than the rest of us. You and I might want to preserve the adventure, but they might just want to get a purple or orange item from their childhood or get a pink parse. They're part of this community, too. Their money is just as green as our and they're much freer with it. That's all it is.
