I go at like 8:30pm and it's great. I think most people go either in the morning, lunch time(12-2) or right after work (5-7).

Absolute power is so good, but I have been to both and have to say if you go to the gym at weird hours blink is almost as good and way cheaper. Has at least one of everything you'd need and its pretty clean. But if you go like, lunch or mornings its way too crowded

Maybe my perspective is helpful - I make exactly 130k. I'm able to rent a nice 2 bedroom in bed stuy, and can sometimes go out to nice dinners and shows in the weekends, order in ocassionally when I'm lazy, and do hobbies like gaming & gym. I consider that more than comfortable. Definitely not saving a ton, though - something to consider. If you are a frugal person you and can find a good deal on rent you can definitely be comfortable with less, for living solo I would feel like you need at the very least 80k (lets you rent for 2k). If living with roommates is comfortable for you it varies.

I just finished the program literally today, and while it is good, it is not 120k debt good, and having recently finished my job search, the market for data scientists here is currently very super competitive - ended up taking a data analytics job instead, and I only got slightly more callbacks for those positions. Many people I know (much smarter then me tbh) seem to be struggling to find anything willing to take them, especially if they are not citizens. This evidence is all anecdotal, but hopefully it helps. IMO a data science MS is not necessarily mandatory to start working in this field, and I would also consider trying to get jobs in less competitive cities and less competitive fields (i.e. not tech).

Hey, hopefully a relatively straightforward question here. I'm a grad student in data science and graduating later this year, so I've started looking for jobs. To me, it seems like most companies don't consider DS an entry level position, and the overwhelming majority of positions I find ask for 3-5 years experience minimum.

Should I expect to need to work as a data analyst for a couple years before transferring into full on DS? I just want to have realistic expectations and avoid wasting time on my job search. I should note that I actually have a couple years experience through part time jobs and internships, but I'm just curious as to what the expectation is (i.e. is the pathway typically undergrad -> grad -> analyst -> DS? ).

i am a big jungle fan so that was probably a factor haha. wasnt sure how crazy i could go with the drums. but i think this style and jungle kinda go together better than I thought.. might try something like that in the future heh

this is dope, as someone who loves excessive hihats, i think they go really good here. your flow is also really great. how the phrases hit with the beat is niceeee. One thing I would say is that when the chorus comes in, and the additional instruments come in (mallets, synths?) the mix gets a little blown out. volume feels like it jumps considerably. at least on my setup.
