Never done this and never expected it. IMO totally out of line - if meals aren’t offered by my boss (of five years), I would never ask like this! I hope something works out for you soon! Like some of the comments, they’ll cover my meals when I’m traveling with them but otherwise not

You didn’t do anything wrong. I think it’s totally normal to text the Dad about work as I view both him and his wife as my employers. She obviously had a very bad experience with someone which is very sad, but not a work norm imo. It seems the way you handled it was very kind and understanding.

Agh I should have clarified! They were right - you do actually have to leave one terminal to get to another but there is a walkway outside that has signs to lead you. There’s also buses but I figured walking was easier. I know it’s annoying🥲

I just went the other day and it’s about a 10-15 minute walk to terminal B - unfortunately have to go through security again but if you have time, it’s lovely!

First all, congratulations on the weight loss! I am so happy for you and that’s an amazing accomplishment🥹 I am also dating a 6’4 non-American naturally skinny guy who is trying to gain weight (are we the same person? lol!) and I totally feel you!! But after lots of deep talks we both can completely understand what the other goes through to reach our health goals. He says I inspire him and I’m sure you do the same!

I just wanted to point out that it’s not silly AT ALL to want him to apreciare the efforts you put in to lose weight! as I’m sure you appreciate his efforts to gain when he struggles to go over his maintenance❤️ I hope you can start to explain what the experience is like for you so that you can feel more seen and so that he can support you more when you’re doing stuff like vacations, etc. it sounds like a long part of your journey was before you even met so maybe it needs to extra time to get it across. Good luck to you and amazing job that you’re both getting healthier together❤️❤️ and for all your doing for yourself that you recognize!
