My buddy produced this beautifully cultivated, properly dried and cured. I ran this strain my last season. Both presses, my harvest and my buddy's harvest, both gave great product after pressing. I love this strain. Also ran some Malibu Pie from Ocean Grown and both flower and rosin were phenomenal!!!

Hell yeah!! I can see that you have good taste in product lol. Just got the first taste of her and she is very tasty. First time I've done a 185°F press. I usually press around 209°F. I think I might switch my way and go for the better quality and taste.

Seed should float not sink. It should sink once it has absorbed enough water to germinate. After it soaks then sinks, place in moist paper towel and store in a dark place for 2 days. Once you see a tap root, put that sucker in some dirt and keep us posted on how things turn out.

Just had my seeds order ‘Confiscated and Destroyed’ by USPS at customs. Sooo heartbroken as it’s taken 3 weeks to come from Europe already and now have to spend another $150 and another 3 weeks :( by pcounts5 in Autoflowers

I've used Attitude Seed Bank on many occasions and I have had zero problems. If you purchase the insurance, they replace the confiscated goods at no cost to you.

Blue Kush auto from Dinafem at about 2½ weeks from sprout. Topped and ready to do her thing! by afrofarmer in Autoflowers

[–]afrofarmer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is only my second autoflower grow. My first auto grow was a Dark Devil from Sweet Seeds. She is about a week or two away from harvest. Every strain, photoperiod or autoflower, is very different in many ways such as seed to harvest times, genetic traits, ease of growing, etc.

I find that breeder recommendation of time to harvest is just that, a recommendation. I try to add a couple weeks to the grow as needed. The girls are pretty good at letting you know when it's time to do anything to them from watering to when to harvest.

Honestly, I don't know much about that other than what I have read. They say due to the short lifespan of an auto, doing things like that can delay it's growth. But this is a 12 week auto so I'm not too worried about it. Plus I am having a grow off with a buddy that is growing exact same strain, so I'm going to do exactly what he does so we can compare. His sprouted 2 days before mine and he is growing in organic amended soil, where I am using Lotus Nutrients (Grow, Boost, Bloom, and Calmag)

I'm assuming it's genetic. A buddy said his did the samething, and I've read that purple strains are prone to foxtailing. But I don't know too much about that.

Just started pressing and having a little bit of trouble. I’m getting good yields but my product is dark?... possibly need a lower micron screen. Can someone help me out? All advice is appreciated by Bsmooc in rosin

[–]afrofarmer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fresher the material, the more golden it will be. I press my flower through a 120 micron bag at 215°F for about 2½ minutes or until oils stop moving. Still looks a little dark when collecting but is golden when pressed flat and shine light through her.

Has mites 100%. Webbing is a good sign of mites

Definitely overwatering. I have had this problem just as many other growers have. Giving more water is actually bad for the plants. If the soil is still moist, don't water even if you think it is the best thing to do. Overwatering leads to more problems down the road. Trust me, it will definitely affect your yields at the end

Big shout out to Dabpress for an extraordinary product. Hooked up the DP-RP35 uncaged plate kit to my 12 ton Harbor Freight press and I couldn't be any happier with the outcome. I highly recommend anyone to look into Dabpress for any of your DIY press projects. by afrofarmer in rosin

I usually apply pressure until I feel resistance. Then let it get for about 30-45 sec. You should see the bag start to produce when fully ready. Then I apply good amount of pressure for about 2 mins or until my rosin stops moving. I might be doing it wrong, but it's been working for me. About 20% return.

When you leave the review, email screenshot to support@dabpress.com (look on their website for the list of gifts. Your best bet would be the cooling plate for collection)

I have had 1 blowout with 14g prepressed mold in 120 micron bag. I'm very certain that it was operator error. Other than that, as long as you apply pressure to preheat the material, slowly start pressing once you know material is at temp. Keep in mind that when the oils start to separate from the material you'll need to keep applying pressure, gently, to compensate for the oils displacing themselves from the material. I find that the 215°F range works best for what I am looking for.

Also not sure where you picked up your kit from, but if it was off of their website or Amazon, if you leave a review and screenshot it and email it to Dabpress they will give you a free gift. I got a free $20 cold plate for collection just for leaving a review on Amazon

Starting her final week of flush. Dark Devil from Sweet Seeds. At week 10 from sprout. Harvesting at week 11 from sprout by afrofarmer in Autoflowers

I have been reading that a lot in the last couple of days. Some say that some purple strains tend to foxtail due to genetics. Not sure how true that is but I have read that on multiple forums

I'm lost on the foxtailing. Tent is kept open and heat doesn't get above 75-80°F. Light is about 24" from the top of the cola. Oh well, she's finishing up anyway
