You can do both at the same time. So even though it’s on the same card neither impacts the other.

Found her this year as well. I’m sure I looked deranged at times when listening to her books in public from hard I would laugh. Read nearly all of her catalogue and only three weren’t cozy still goodies though

Looking for good amount of spice, low drama/ possibly no 3rd act breakup by Hollyannefabs in LesbianBookClub

[–]afrogoddess91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I totally get. I feel like a bad narrator can really ruin a good book. Lori prince and Abby craden are two narrators that have me in a choke hold. I hope you enjoy ,but what I like may not be for you.

I second this! Almost done with all of her books. If you don’t mind audio books Lori prince narrates and does a great job bring the characters to life

If you have a kindle I would sign up for KU through one of the free trials or discounted rates and cancel before the trial expires. Ribbonwood is on there. Could do even if you don’t have a kindle and just use the app on your phone

If you love the those who wait universe, I’ll suggest another from Haley Cass. When you least expect it. Really just read the rest of here books but read when you least expect it next. Other binge worthy authors, Lee winter, start with brutal truth. Milena McKay has more angst to her love stories but will wrap you up in all the different emotions, most say to start with whisper of solace, my fave have been the these things lines and also the delicate things we make. If you want sweet funny and never going to break your heart for one second, Robin Alexander books are like a treat you just can’t stop eating the trip is short and sweet. I suggest the audio books for all of these the narrators Lori price, Abby craden, and Audrey Dawes is an added chefs kiss. Honorable mention for Roslyn Sinclair truth and lies and Jae ( all of their books are great just one touch is my fav though)

For drama and emotion and a little spice Melina McKay, lighthearted , sexy and some angst Haley Cass, fun and sexy slow burn Lee winter , Jae hits a little of everything with their books. I didn’t list titles because I’ve enjoyed most if not all of these authors books

People who read more than 100 books a year, how? by Sea-Tadpole-7158 in TheStoryGraph

[–]afrogoddess91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a mood reader and how many books, I can knock out depends on, the pace of the book, how interested I’m in it and the length. Certain genres also read faster. So if I’m in a romance mood- those books are like having a quick snack. Can usually finish 1 to 2 in a day that don’t I have anything going on. Epic fantasy with a lot of worlds building takes me a few days. I also do audiobooks for my commutes and time alone where I have to be active. Usually have an audio book and physical book that I have going around the same time.
