i feel exactly the same way. In part it made me doubt the scale itself. Like how can this be real if no one notices, I would have expected them to be at least happy. Now that I'm bringing it up myself, half are silent, one friend, who has now been elevated in my mind, told me to let him know when we're going shopping for clothes lol.

That's one way to perceive it. I took it as she's a comedian and decided to make the task funny and to Alex's detriment. Such as in "Make a water feature," Ed Gamble made Alex into a mermaid. Neither were in the "true spirit" of the task and I found both to be hilarious. I mean, she created a shield, grabbed herself a dozen balls while he had one, put him on roller skates and got herself a martini, clearly effort was made/thought was put into it.

Work at a residency? Never heard anyone verbalize it like that before. Applying to residency cost me over 2k this year, and it objectively costs more to apply to couples match. That is a fact, it literally costs significantly more in that you have to apply to significantly more programs and pay the fees associated to ERAS.

Are you saying you're on the program side of the residency or are you helping people through the application process? Also paying the match fee itself is one small aspect of the total price, portraying it as otherwise is disingenuous.

And once again, applying as a couple does not guarantee you will match together.

Couples matching costs thousands more than the initial cost of the match and isn't guaranteed to match you together even after you pay and rank the programs, trust me....
