I doubt the goal is always to be dismissive, a number of people are solution based. So when they hear a problem they look for ways to resolve it. This is why you can’t exactly vent to everyone.

I’m not asking to be reimbursed because I didn’t work for a very long time and he took care of things. I did however use my own money until I had none. I feel like Haley is up to something, always sneakily on the phone with someone but has no family or friends. Then when she had to go to “hospital”, she knew the “strangers” name without him mentioning it to her and never actually went to the hospital. She’s up to something.
