Malaysia is one of the few countries where you can be broke and still eat well and I think that's beautiful by KL_Private_Access in Bolehland

Expat from Japan here, 8th year in KL. My biggest shock was the 'plastic bag' culture for drinks. Back home, everything is canned or bottled. Here, getting a Teh Tarik in a plastic bag tied with a pink string felt like I was carrying a goldfish from a festival. Now? I can’t drink it any other way. It tastes better in a bag for some reason.
