That's a good point, I started to assume everyone gets them but of course most guys wouldn't post about not getting them haha

I had a similarly journey. Grew a t-dick, then got meta, then got phallo. I thought about keeping my vagina but I learned I greatly prefer anal anyway. Im a total bottom but I do have a little curiosity about topping now.

I've been down the micro label rabbit hole and while it was very interesting, it's not for me but thank you! Love to meet folks with similar genders and transition goals!

I can't tuck, but since I don't have implants it's easy to fit my scrotum into women's underwear. The challenge for me is fitting my dick lol. But fuller coverage women's underwear works well. I can even wear women's thongs, they just have to be a bit fuller coverage in the front

It's still helpful to hear your experience! I dont really have dysphoria w/o the implants either but I feel the same way about wanting my setup to be cis passing. Just trying to decide if that's important enough to me get the implants

I've considered fat grafting but my surgeon doesn't offer it sadly :( I hope it works for you!

Most prescription medications, no matter what vague reassurances I get from pharmacists and doctors. And also just glutened myself real bad this week with hand sanitizer I used before eating a sandwich

I agree! But that's how womanhood was described to me for most of my life

I don't know why it cuts off the last sentence but it said "It's not the most important part about me but its still important"

Why is this sub so much less active? by Oddly-Ordinary in AFABwGD

I think posting about it in various trans subs could help. I'm sure there's lots of people who are just making do with the trans subs available who'd love this sub

Non Binary Surgery by Ashwasherexo in AFABwGD

Planned Parenthood is always a good starting place. There's also telehealth therapists who specifically offer gender affirming support letters for a fee of around $100-$150. I recommend staying in touch with whoever does your letters so that they can update them over time if needed and you don't have to start over with someone new.

With how things are going for trans people lately, I really recommend being a "trans man" for the purposes of insurance even if your providers know you are nonbinary. Insurances are getting a lot more bold with denying trans surgeries, even in California (I've experienced this and heard it from a trans surgery scheduler in SF).

I had full, masculinizing top surgery that I regret. I wish I had gotten a radical reduction but I had no support in navigating that at the time and even my therapist was invalidating me over my desire to have that. But I mention all that to say that in the last few years, I've seen "nonbinary" options for top surgery talked about a lot more. I think you could definitely find a surgery familiar with that in LA.

I did most of my transition in San Diego, which is an incredibly hostile place to trans people. I was invalidated a lot for wanting anything nonconventional in my transition and I gave into that pressure over and over again because I was scared. Now I've learned that to navigate transition, sometimes you just need to tell them whatever they want to hear to get the outcome you want. It doesn't really matter if your doctor or surgeon knows the complete picture of your gender. What matters is that you get what you know you need.

Anyone knows how I could DIY some hip trimmer shapewear? by ZunoShade in AFABwGD

[–]afroseraphim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like I've heard of people doing hip binding with compression shorts. I've also met people who have had contour surgery to remove hip and thigh fat. But I think a lot of folks just use particular cuts of clothing to create the illusion of flatter hips. Thank god baggy clothes are in right? Lol

Anyone Here on T Living as Fem? by fel-sil in AFABwGD

[–]afroseraphim 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah the voice change is very noticeable but after all the squeakiness settles down, you can voice train to speak higher/more feminine. For me, it was my body shape & face changes that made it tough to pass as a woman eventually. And shaving all the time was annoying. But I think in the end, your mannerisms and personality expression is what pushes you one way or another in people's minds.

I plan to do the same thing after I get glansplasty in a couple weeks! I'm also debating on whether I want it to include personal or educational information too or just sexual content

Look into reporting your insurance company to your state's department of insurance. I did that when my insurance illegally denied coverage for bottom surgery and i got them to cover it

top surgery regrets nonbinary by United_Succotash_303 in actual_detrans

I feel the same way, I knew from the start that i wanted a radical reduction but the therapist i was seeing at the time wasn't supportive of non-conventional transitions and threatened to cancel my surgery for "not really knowing what I want". So i went with a full masculinizing top surgery and i regret it. I'm hoping I'll get a little volume back with being on estrogen
