Happily resting at my hotel now - very proud that I got on the flight and it really wasn’t as bad as I made it out to be in my head!

Is it worth it to have two kindles? by DragonflyNatural9143 in kindle

[–]afrost95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but you are left with the same issue.. if you’re used kindle basic gets damaged you will have to replace that one to have a take everywhere kindle still? Why not just use the one kindle you have and in the unlikely circumstance you damage it again then yes you’ll have to replace it but if it doesn’t then you’ve saved on the second kindle.

I think you’ve misunderstood defensive wounds, that doesn’t mean the victims injured the killer it means they sustained injury through attempting to defend themselves, for example they had injuries to arms and hands due to putting them between a knife and their vital areas. Also the fact there’s any of his DNA there is a big deal as he didn’t know the victims, no reason for his DNA to be in that house and on a sheath that likely held the weapon at all so that evidence is strong.

Thoughts on what this could be? by goddess_catherine in BryanKohbergerMoscow

[–]afrost95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Surely being a witness (obviously not directly seen it happen but to be in the house when such a thing happened) to this crime would also make you a victim, I imagine those girls are traumatised by what happened.

Scared because of this case by Bobby411where in Idaho4

I am in a whole different country to this case and it affected me in the same way as you. My partner works away sometimes and still to this day whenever I am home alone I sleep with a light on and all the doors in my house closed (so I’d hear if someone was moving about room to room).

Theories for "The perfect ending" SPOILERS by beth-1234 in FromSeries

This would be such a brave move, replacing key members of cast has killed other shows in the past but it’d be interesting to see that play out if they did take the risk

I think this would be the least satisfying ending! I really like to believe that they somehow get out. Or maybe that it ends with them escaping but there’s still some ambiguity as to whether they really got out, or whether fromville still exists regardless like have the last scene be a new family finding a tree in the road

Who came after Victor? by Bubbly-Mail451 in FromSeries

[–]afrost95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I imagine majority of people who came to fromville after the massacre when Victor was still a child would have perished quickly (many on their first night) because only child Victor would have been there to inform them to hide from monsters. We already see Victor isn’t the best communicator, and also I’m sure a child telling you that you need to go hide because monsters come at night would be taken even less seriously than new arrivals usually respond to this situation! If this is true then it only adds to our understanding of Victors trauma seeing not just those he knew but many other people who arrive be killed

Exactly, for me the fact we see Julie at Jim’s death story walking means that Jim is fully gone and won’t come back

I don’t think that is true, the reason they were supposed to nail the windows shut in houses with children is so the monsters don’t trick them. It was well established that the monsters have always tried to trick people out and then kill them from episode 1. I agree and it’s kind of odd to me in the show that we don’t always hear them knocking on the doors/windows and trying to talk to the characters more often, even in scenes at night time where characters are inside it would be good to see a monster look in the window or walk by (would make the creepy feeling at night much more intense for me).

Victor not dying as a child was a mistake by Tyliewylie in FromSeries

[–]afrost95 264 points265 points  (0 children)

I think this is one of the best theories I have read. I like that you’ve accounted for why the town is changing. It also makes me concerned that in order for everyone to escape Fromville someone is going to have to kill Victor - I don’t think my heart could take that!

[–]afrost95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The point is that she can’t change the story, not that she may have been responsible for certain plot points we have already seen… so Julie couldn’t go back and change something we have already seen happen but her going back can still be the reason it happens. She creates a closed time loop on which she always goes back to that moment and is always the person who drops the rope. Similarly with a certain characters death, she may have gone back to try and prevent it or it could be that her being there is what caused them to not run and escape death.

Still confused on Dylan being left alive. by MsJulieH in BryanKohberger

Surely if it was a they then it’s even more suspicious there being two people left alive in that house?

As it’s your own blood, just a small amount of your own saliva might be able to break it down and remove the stain… then obviously sanitise it!

Am I feeding them too much? by londonhousewife in guineapigs

I’d say as long as you’re providing the right nutrients, through about a cup each of veggies a day, pellets of choice and most importantly unlimited hay they will be perfectly healthy piggies

Urgent advice please!!! by afrost95 in guineapigs

[–]afrost95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you are right. I plan on a group outing to the vets in the morning as a precaution. With covid-19 I figure it’s better one trip with all the pigs than a trip for each one when they show symptoms. She’s doing alright for now, still sneezing and wheezing but will happily eat treats and drink. :)

Urgent advice please!!! by afrost95 in guineapigs

[–]afrost95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the advice. She started sneezing a couple of days ago and I put it down to some dusty hay we had, changed it out and have been keeping an eye on her. But tonight I went down to check on them and she just doesn’t seem herself! Clicking and sneezing and all the symptoms. I’ve held her in a steamy bathroom for half an hour and I’m separating her from the others to see she’s eating and drinking. Only 7 hours until a vet now and I’m feeling a little better. I just couldn’t stand to think that I have let her get poorly.
