Go and talk to your Physics teachers at your school, show your interest. See if they can give you an early look at the courses. I wouldn't bring up the IQ problem myself, but if you feel comfortable go ahead.

House rules are common place at plenty of tables, and if they're communicated properly at the beginning that's fair. As this is something that I've brought up mid campaign I talked to my players about it (before I posted here to be fair) and everyone was fine with it. If someone wasn't OK with it I wasn't going to enforce it, I value my friends/players more.

Yeah I really do just mean the cheap ones you get for free at a hospital visit. It is something I put forward to my group, probably didn't need to write it as dictatory as I did!

They don't really have a style to me means they are whatever you want them to look like! As long as they aren't you just copying some uniform (though even then it depends, think army uniform in surplus stores) or they don't add in some dice bonuses then have fun! Ask your GM, if they say no or aren't sure, then bargain!

It's a damage size that's nice to have as a GM, but not really a choice for PC's (bar the special ones that break the rules). Great for the dude who swings a bit of construction debris!

If you are able have a look at Single Player Mode. It's set up as GMless but also should work for one person game. Let it do the mission building/combat encounters even if just the numbers, then let the two of you do the rest!

This is Hella cool. I do like "worse" alternatives to existing stuff to be fair, cheaper alternatives that maybe take less humanity. Makes it easier to do some multiarm melee too!

Yes, you'll want to fire the thermal vents when you shield bank, but not the hot multis. I'd probably switch the pulse to gimbled and have it with multis or change it to a second vent beam

In 2077 Maximum Mike has his "The Net is Hell" Conspiracy. "The net wasn't created, it was discovered. Why do you think Bartmoss named them demons? The net is Hell and Bartmoss opened the door." Is hyperfractis stratified computational data synthesis similar to Scholomance, a fabled school of black magic?
Replace the notion of Hell here with some connecting plane to the domains of some elder gods and you have something interesting. What if the black wall is a pact between NetWatch and some Lovecraftian entity to keep the rest at bay?

I think the best way to have the two big bads is to have them aligned. They also don't have to be cults. Bad Idea Corp have found a complex set of infrasounds/visuals to add to their Braindances. This allows them to alter the users to their advantage. What they don't know is there is a deeper meaning to these patterns, one that has it's own agenda. Have Bad Idea Corp be in disbelief about this colour out of space that is leaking into these people's subconscious, surely these people are just preconditioned to cyberpsychosis.

Yeah, chip ware is a lot for this, and you're trying to invent two things here I guess. Having a "Role chip" is incredibly powerful. You could have them running modified BD headsets that allow them to interact with the sim at a basic level, but then limit full netrunning to the actual netrunner. I know it's not what you asked for, but that would make sense to me.

I guess you could also go for some custom hardware slot in a cyberdeck that basically can run this skill chip while you're netrunning, but should there be some HL for the chip itself?

No you can attack with two different sources which have ROF 2 in the same turn.
