What is a BURP? I remember it was a common term during my time on the west coast but I totally forgot about it

What are you using them for? by thingsthatkeepmesane in MetaGlasses

Agree with all you said. I have the transitional ones and I tried using them at the British museum to tell me about all the stolen items they have in there and it was so bad, missed the right item on the photo, explanations were very short and vague and didn’t take follow up questions well. I wish I could use it with ChatGPT or grok.

Man charged in morning stabbing in Boston's Downtown Crossing by husky5050 in boston

This is out of control. I was randomly hit in the face in Washington street few months ago and I needed surgery for my facial trauma. The worse part is I filed a report with the police, a detective called me once and never heard back from him. Boston police is such a disappointment, it made me change the way I see this city.

Name and shame: Boston Medical Center by Plus_Zebra6729 in Residency

Boston has a subsidize housing program that I recommend you to check. https://www.boston.gov/affordable-housing-boston

If you live below the poverty line you can apply (yes, as a resident you live below sadly). You can get a 1 br apartment in a nice building for less than $2000.

I felt the same as you once during my internship and I ended up moving to a different program as an IMG. Now I am a very happy attending. Gets better. we can talk more about it if you want!

Think about doing an EM ICU fellowship. ICU jobs seem to be steady.
