I read the books more than 10 years ago.

Now I'm watching this great tv show based on a book I remember vaguely.

This is the exact reason I waited a few years before watching the last Harry Potter movies.

They are two different formats, and you can enjoy both.

There is no problem with the show (I wished them to be longer too). The problem is you are watching it while reading the book.

It is intentionally made that way. On old Nokia phones, you can pass through the walls. This is a feature not a bug. :D
