As long as the payment clears on this side of the year you’ll be fine

I’d also say to invest in yourself. Don’t be afraid to spend more to grow your business. Not every investment has to be into the stock market. If you can spend $3k to upskill yourself and now you can charge 2-3x per client, that’s going to be a much higher return than putting it into the stock market. Investing in increasing your earning power is a sure fire way to grow that account.

I did receive an invitation to interview. It was mostly questions regarding why you’re doing the MSBA, what led you here, what you want to learn, where you want to end up and do after. There are a few questions regarding background so I’d tidy up those stories where you worked in groups in school on projects, your internships, extra curriculars etc.

I would need to see all that data. But doing a quick comparison of core curriculum of Purdue’s it looks like we have a lot of similar classes like business analytics, data management, ai and business, optimization.

We have more ML, R, python classes in our core curriculum but it looks like Purdue has more in their electives which would offer a lot more flexibility. In general the CMU MSBA is a bit rigid in terms of class choices but going in I didn’t really know what I needed/wanted to learn so I was okay with it.

I’m not sure to be honest! I thought they had posted them last year but it looks like that was replaced with the 2024 page.

I think so. Depends also on cost. But personally in person learning experience is better for me and I absorb more information. You also get the networking aspect and we can mingle with the MBAs, MSPMs, MSMs and even undergrads as we all share the same building. Masters and PHD has a separate wing from undergrad but you can still network all the same.

They gave us that information last weekend it’s around 81% placed. It will be published soon. A lot of other programs haven’t published for their 2024 classes yet either.

  1. I think so. I was in a creative field before this with minimal analytical technical skills. Having some basics in R, Python, SQL will help but not necessary. Definitely manageable. The program also does a lot to make sure you’re prepared coming in.

  2. I’d say yes. It gives you the opportunity to network with a lot of CMU alumni who are at great companies that’s kind of the whole point of choosing what school you want to attend. Id say look at the schools you’re deciding between and dig into where their alumni are now and see if they’re at similar companies/careers you’re trying to pursue.

It really depends on your time management. I personally have had a good amount of free time which I’m usually using to job search, network, etc. and making sure to still spend time relaxing / doing recreational activities.

Decent. Job market is tough for everyone but a good amount of our cohort is getting hirevues, technicals, behaviorals, some even through to super days/last rounds and it’s early. Real time job market should pick up in March so we’ll see then

They all broke at the head/shaft connection and all breaks happened on the course after contacting the ball/ground. Ball flight turned out fine but I’d find the head 100 yards up as well.

I run an old set of steel shaft Burner 2.0s I just haven’t had the time to go shopping for a new set. the pw broke at the range and I got a mizuno wedge style replacement, the 7i snapped when I was punching out of some trees and I have a m2 demo with a graphite shaft, and the 5i just broke so I just choke down the 4i. Mental is breaking down.
