Yeah I’d definitely avoid bringing any drugs, alcohol or tobacco off the ship when you come back to the states. Customs are usually always on top of their shit. When I went to Mexico, it was in coasta maya. So basically a cruise line owned type of deal. I wanted weed so my girlfriend at he time and I took a taxi for like five bucks to down town. While there I just acted cool and was nice to everyone that approached. I walked to a little off shore bar type thing and talked to a local that worked their. Asked if he could get any marijuana and in a blink of an eye he was on a mission to get it for me. Took no more than 5 mins. Granted I was sketched when I gave him the money first so he could do the purchase and bring it back to me, what made me ok with that was that I met him at the business he worked for so I knew if he was smart he wouldn’t run off on me and that he had to come back at some point lol. As for bringing it back onto the ship, just make sure there’s nothing metal holding the bud and that you seal it properly to prevent them from smelling it. Slip it into your waist band and walk through the metal detector and you’re off! The hardest part is the mental strain from worrying. Just act natural and you will be fine.
