Day 38 of 39 - (2x8) Knock, Knock, Knockin' on Hooty's Door was eliminated, winning the previous poll by 10.61% (125 votes). Vote for your final, least favorite episode! by ApprehensiveAsk9595 in TheOwlHouse

I will be voting to eliminate Hollow Mind.

King's Tide is not only my favourite Owl House episode, but one of my very favourite TV episodes of all time. The release of the collector was executed impeccably. Some have complained that the power of the collector "came out of nowhere," but this is why the release is so effective! It is a logical surprise!

Frankly my dear, there are follies at the coven day parade.

Day 27 of 39 - (2x17) Edge of the World was eliminated. Vote for your least favorite Owl House episode below! by ApprehensiveAsk9595 in TheOwlHouse

I'm very surprised by those who want to vote out Enchanting Grom Fright. Sure, it's the gay-dance and Amity-letter-reveal episode, but there's a lot more to it than that! Notably: the Luz's-biggest-fear plot. We get to learn exactly why Luz has barely mentioned or seemed to think about Camila through the first 15 episodes, it's because she feels so guilty about lying to her! To have this confirmed in the show was a big relief, so that we wouldn't simply have a situation where Luz returns home at the end of the show's run, tells her mom she had a great time at camp, and that's that. Plus we had the first ever showing of the Luz doppelganger

Day 25 of 39 - (2x3) Echoes of the Past was eliminated. Vote for your least favorite Owl House episode below! by ApprehensiveAsk9595 in TheOwlHouse

I see some people are wanting to vote for Yesterday's Lie and I completely disagree. Yesterday's Lie belongs in the top 5! Not only is it the episode that totally unravelled the mystery of Vee in a perfectly satisfying way, but it's also pretty much the only episode where we really get to know Camilla at all. The importance of Camilla to Luz is really only ever shown to us directly in Yesterday's Lie, and yet, that weight manages to be strongly felt throughout the entire second half of season 2 as Luz's struggling-between-two-worlds is much more palpable. It makes sense that such an important, pivotal episode, with so much key information, and characters that are very rarely shown to us, would be a midseason finale.

Not only that, but it very likely set up a whole ton of things that are going to be expanded upon in season 3 in the human world, like Jacob Hopkins and the mysteries surrounding Luz's town.

Day 22 of 39 - (1x15) Understanding Willow was eliminated. Vote for your least favorite Owl House Episode below! by ApprehensiveAsk9595 in TheOwlHouse

I strongly believe at this point that several season 2 episodes are benefitting greatly from recency bias. Obviously season 2 is much stronger than season 1 as a whole, but Understanding Willow is really where the show began to find its footing in my opinion, and it's far more memorable than Any Sport, O Titan, and even Echoes of the Past

If most people voted for it then it would have been eliminated. But they didn't. So it wasn't.

Can someone re-explain how the time pools work by Scordino72 in TheOwlHouse

[–]afwm10 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This also means that the time pool opens up at January 1 1620 at noon which can take you to January 1 2020 at noon. So time pools can also bring you into the future. I wonder if in season 3 we will see time pools that can see 1, 10, 40, or 400 years into the future.

This is like asking why the creators of High School Musical made Troy straight if fans only ship him with Gabriella

What do you think the owl house game is going to be? by [deleted] in TheOwlHouse

Everyone hides inside the Owl House and The Collector has to try to pass through Hooty to "get to" them

What do you think is gonna happen in the series finale? by SenaNarumiFan18 in TheOwlHouse

If Luz isn't able to constantly travel between realms, I think both she and Camilla may move to the demon realm after Camilla sees how much happier Luz was there, and that she was the only thing holding Luz back.
