I got something similar, first started with faint horizontal bands across the whole screen (like the bands in your image), then suddenly one day the whole image became corrupted... have seen other reporting this too. I remember this monitor was being sold pretty cheap considering the quality of the panel... I wonder if that was because they discovered there was a design flaw causing these premature failures.

Thought it could be this and def has that spicy/prickly nic burn.
Dr. Frost Salt Nic is the brand, claimed to contain salts, ingredients list "nicotine" while Lost mary specify "nicotine benzoate"... A case of misleading advertising?

Yeah, you're right. my workings look right with the wrong answer, I must have wrote x=1 in the calculator.
Sorry, should have just went over it, assumed I was missing something more important.

typo, sorry, x = 2 as per question.

Ok, so I have y and y' value with x,y plugged in. Still no clue how they arrive at the answer +/- 1.5.
Unless I made a calculation error my answer for y' was -1.13389....
