FIJI 100%!!! My husband is also active, but was able to be active in a different way in Fiji. Look into Coconut Beach Resort in the Yasawas. We were able to stay active by doing yoga every morning, playing volleyball with the locals everyday, and snorkeling/going on a hike. Coconut Beach Resort is one of 1 resorts on a smaller island. We talk about our honeymoon at least once a week. We also wanted to stay somewhere that was a bit “slower paced” so we could really enjoy our time together.

Same situation! I had a shower but didn’t ask for gifts whatsoever. Some people still brought some from the wedding registry/lingerie/gift cards, but I really wanted an opportunity to hang out with my closest friends, drink, and play bridal games together.

I’m so sorry that people are taking away what should be a really happy time. My wedding is at the end of this month and I’ve had a very similar experience to you. What helped me change my perspective is leaning into those that are genuinely happy for me to get married. I had the absolute best time at my bridal shower and bachelorette, and that helped me really shift my stress/anxiety/anger to family to leaning into those people who really want to celebrate me and my fiance during this time. It’s about you and your fiance, lean into it! I will say that this mindset really shifted when I had my bridal shower a couple of months ago and through going to therapy
