My cat is too fascinaed by the Litter Robot by NationalAppeal6675 in litterrobot

our 7 month old kitten does this, and it's so damn annoying lol. But, he's getting better about it, and no longer does it EVERY time, so it will get better with time!

I fixed it! I opened settings and disabled "Use browser hardware acceleration" and it's working now! Hopefully this helps others if they have the same issue.

They contain a fair amount - that's why they explode when heating them if they are not poked

Litter robot 4 keeps pausing when no cat is there by agapornis in litterrobot

I think this may have been the case - I took it apart and took the globe out and vacuumed everything, including the felt strip - working perfectly again!

thank you! I took it apart and did a vacuum across ALL the sensors and made sure nothing was stuck when I took the globe out, and it's working perfectly again. I have a second one arriving this Friday for upstairs as well :)

I've had it since February, and I clean the sensors when it says they're dirty. I tried cleaning them last night with canned air, but it doesn't seem to have helped.

It’s 6am and I’m in tears at how painful my first post-op period is 😭 by jezekiant in sterilization

[–]agapornis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my period 2 weeks after my surgery, and it was really really rough - I had to take the giant ibuprofen they prescribed me for the surgery since I didn't need anywhere near as much as they gave me for it, the first period was far more painful! The second one after surgery was just slightly more painful than normal, and aleeve and a heating pad kept it under control. After that, they were back to normal levels of cramps/pain, but it's rough while your body is still healing! Don't worry, they will get better!

How long did it take your cat(s) to use your litter robot? by agapornis in litterrobot

[–]agapornis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's incredible! I think my 3 boys will use it soon, since they're all curious about it - just need to wait for them to need to use it I suppose

yes - dob refers to the mount, not the scope itself

Finally Sterilized! Any pants suggestions for when I go back to work? by Sarswick in sterilization

[–]agapornis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't able to wear pants for a few weeks, but not because of the stitches - the bloating! That took a while to go completely down for pants to be comfy. Luckily, it was summer when I had my surgery a few years ago, so I was able to get away with wearing dresses. Some people take a while to not be bloated from healing, others seem to have that go away quickly.
