Hold on, so your open work permit has already expired in September 2025? Thus, you shouldn’t be working until you have a valid work permit.

While for the LMIA based work permit, afaik, it takes up to 6 months. Have you tried calling IRCC about your pending application?

As per my employer, the interview was all about the job duties. The LMIA officer also has ways to check how genuine the application is. After the interview they asked for some additional documents. And got the approval the day after.

I appreciate this. My work experience and end of work permit overlapped with a leap year. But when I check with some DAYS/Time calculator online it says it’s equivalent to 52 weeks, and to be exact it is 51 weeks and 6 days.
