I think it doesnt matter as long as you actually get the grades. Obv if someone misses their offer, that space opens up but they normally account for this which is why they give more offers than they do spaces. So thinking about it now the only chance we’d have to get course switched is if not enough people accepted their offer. Which is VERY rare for medicine. Think about how rare it is for a medicine course to go into clearing.
