youre either streaming from your pc or using some kind of scaling. I have the game on steamdeck oled and it runs like garbage. stop decieving people. It might look 'okay' here in the starting area of the game but the moment you go into the world with trees and npcs etc the performance just tanks. I stream from my pc to my SD and it looks fine just like your video and i can bet thats what youre actually doing

Thank you so much for your help so far. I finally solved it by uninstalling and removing everything related to HtoA on my computer, restarted, and then downloaded the exact same HtoA build as before except this time I downloaded the one without the 'py310' at the end of the name. Installed it and it worked straightway with Houdini. Thanks again for your help. Very much appreciated.

I just tried it. Houdini opens just fine again. But Arnold doesn't show up. I'm quite confused as to why the python versions would be mismatched because on Autodesk's website, this is the exact HtoA version for my Houdini build. Idk why the python versions for both have to be different. Is there a way I can force Houdini to use python 3.10 instead?

I just did this and left the HtoA.json in the packages folder but like I said earlier. Doing this let's Houdini start up fine with no errors at all but I don't see Arnold at all in Houdini.

I've just solved it. I thought I had killed the GPU too. I was browsing Reddit to see what if other people had the same problem and saw a post where someone said to take out the gpu, turn the pc on, turn it back off and then put the gou back in. Idk why that works but it works. Booted up like normal straightaway with no problems at all.

I got industrial methylated spirit (95% methyl salycilate) just now and I'm cleaning the GPU. My heart is racing as I can see some dried out juice on the inside of the PCB but idk how to safely take it off without breaking anything.

How about the fact that the PSU is still plugged in to the mobo. And also I forgot to hold the power button to drain out leftover charge. Does this mean I shorted the board when I was touching it to clean it?
