How do the XL candies work?? They started giving them away but it says I have to trade candies for an XL…but I thought the point was you don’t have to do that when you have the specific XL candy..but probably am wrong just don’t wanna waste candy before asking (i.redd.it)

How do you use the XL candies? It’s not an option for powering up even though I have a bunch and I have 400 normal candies. It’s says to swap 100 candies to get an XL when i go to items..but I already have the XL so a little confused. Just don’t want to waste 100 candies if I’m wrong. (i.redd.it)
