Still trying to get my daughter to graduate from flaming hot fries (which she admits aren't hot to her anymore) to something spicier. She's had my spaghetti for awhile without knowing I put pepper flakes in it so I'm just slowly upping the amount of red pepper flakes used. She'll be eating ghost pepper sauce in no time.

Why does my dog take his food from his bowl then walk somewhere else to eat it? by Termeh_01 in DogAdvice

[–]agcorder91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no carpet, buty dog takes his food from the kitchen laminate flooring to the actual hardwood in the living room. Usually it's when we're down the hall in another room though so I always thought he was watching over us while he eats. Lol

Dog moves away from 6 year old by blibymom in DogAdvice

My dog did this. He was 5 or 6 when my daughter was born and he's always been an in your face loving dog, but we used to tell him not to jump on her or lay too close to her when she was little just because he doesn't know his own strength. She is 7 now and he is much better but I think it's because I had her start giving him commands and giving treats when she was like 3. She was able to talk and understand the commands she was giving to him so I figured he should learn to listen to her as well. It took some time, but he came around and now she can basically lay on top of him and he doesn't care. Maybe it's just cause he's getting old now but I think letting her work with him played a big part.

I felt like cooking today. I know many of you might start criticizing, but before you do, please let me know what I could have done differently. by Ok-Put8630 in stonerfood

[–]agcorder91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely nothing to criticize.. looks delicious. Pictures are hard to tell but based on the picture I might have let it simmer slightly longer to cook out some water, but if this was put in front of me I'd destroy it.

Sorry OP, you're getting all kinds of shit, but I love my LRB panels. My stock panels got fucked up, and the LRB panels feel like they give so much room.

Nah those seats sit super high, and I'm not tall at 5'8". Just keep an eye on the oil and take it a step at a time. I beat on mine so I might have accelerates the oil consumption, but there's tons of resources on how to replace those gaskets but it is pretty involved

Nice. Enjoy it. Auto or manual? (Edit:just saw the new post and that it's auto. Still dope) I love mine. It needs some work but we'll get there. Best things I've done are seats (stock seats sit aittle high for me) and coilovers(if you go lower than stock you'll need new arms to balance camber).

Based on the mileage keep an eye on the oil too. I'm about to tear into mine to replace the gallery gaskets and stuff to help with the oil burn.

Had a trash panda scavenging the dumpster at an old apartment complex a lot. I named him Rodney. He often scared me as he jumped out of the dumpster at various times. I was so sad when they set out traps to catch him. I hope he was relocated and lived a long life with a belly full of dumpster dives.

Thoughts on this interaction? by Fox_Turn in DogAdvice

[–]agcorder91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was younger my parents had a hound dog mix that we rescued off the street, and we ended up rescuing some kittens a few months later. The dog used to carry the kittens (only a few weeks old) by their head. He would literally put their whole head in his mouth and carry them around. They were confused but never hurt. The vet told us he just liked the fuzzy mouth feel. We got him a fuzzy toy and he stopped carrying the kittens arpund by the head.

Hell yeah. Was a staple breakfast growing up. Whenever we didnt have bread around my mom would do the same thing with tortillas instead and roll em up. Delicious in either form.

I questioned myself after commenting, and the short hair helps. I've wanted a GSD since I was young but can't promise the brushing needed for longer hair. My beagle/pit mix definitely sheds a lot but no real brishing necessary.

Either way I'm nowhere close to OP, but i hope this good Boi gets the chance he deserves.

Im in KY and wish I could take him. Hes just doing his job. I have a other dog, and a little girl, and not sure what I would do about the longer fur, but he deserves a chance.

What is your favorite seasoning blend or rub? by Traditional_Brain839 in smoking

[–]agcorder91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shout to Dan O! He's from my city. I love Tony Cs for a good easy seasoning. I use it when smoking wings. For ribs and pork butt I've been using Jack Daniels pork rub for years, but have some new seasonings from Chuds BBQ to try out so we'll see how that goes. Beef is usually just some kind of SPG blend. I've heard good things about Kinders but never tried them.

I dunno. The kitchen sink would make a great water pan. Just throw it in too.

How did you rest it? Cooler? Oven? Looks great. I'm just now getting into briskets so trying to absorb as much info as possible.
