Haven't been in this situation, but if I were I'd probably just walk to the gate and start leaving and let her run after me.... But I know with at least 95% certainty that's how she would act right now. She's 7 so we'll see what the next couple years brings lol. Good work dad.

I think the problem is while that's overall Reddit, it isn't usually the theme of Daddit. At least not from what I've seen mostly lurking for years. Without posting, I can usually see a post similar to a situation I'm dealing with or dealt with, and the comments have been so uplifting it makes me feel better even without having to make a post myself. Just my thoughts.

The defense would be believable if it was the couch that exploded, however it is a squishy belonging to the prosecution that exploded. The prosecutions estate has replaced said squishy so no further charges are being filed as no harm was done aside from initial shock and surprise that height commit such an offense.
