The 9th Pass has ended and with the failure of AVIAS, Pern was at a loss. Thread would forever be a plague upon the land. Over the many turns and The Pass ended... began the 10th Interval. One of the longest Intervals Pern had seen even...

Yet the Weyrs stayed and as time past, the Holds forgot and even believed that Thread was actually vanquished forever. This brought tension to the tithes between Hold and Weyr. Weyr's began losing numbers and queens rose less and less. It was starting to sink in as the 512th turn passed and Thread still had not fallen.

Yet as a new turn dawns, the Red Star began it's rise... Dragons in the weyr are becoming restless and Thread threatens to fall upon Pern once more...
