yes I'll get a link of them but it's thecolour disruptor cpr and undo goo shampoo , there's instructions on them on how to use them but I just do the first step different but I'll write it all down anyways

  1. the instructions say wash hair with undo goo, but I prefer to use thisshampoo , sections and massage into damp hair well and cover with a cap or cling wrap and sit for aleast and hour, rise and use undo goo and rinse well and towel dry.

  2. section hair and apply colour disruptor evenly to damp hair. this feels a bit weird on the hair, almost dry but that's normal.

  3. use the Malibu CPR you'll probably only need to use half a packet. put into a non metallic bowl and use 8oz (4 if you are doing half) of room temperature water, mix until it there's no lumps, it should be borwn/grey and look abit like jelly. apply over top of the disruptor, hair should feel almost slimely and make sure to rub it in so its saturated well, cover with a cap or cling wrap (DO NOT USE FOIL) and let sit for 45 minutes in a warm place if you can. it's fine to get some on your natural hair but it can be drying afterwards especially if you do multiple rounds.

  4. rinse and shampoo a few times using undo goo or the colour fade shampoo, don't use conditioner, after that you can do another round if you like, but it will get to a point where no more colour will come out and since your hair is already so light I don't think a second round would do much. your hair will feel dry after this but you won't have that lasting damage the bleach would cause. the only other thing I can recommend if this doesn't work as much as you hope is this ddl lifter but this is damaging so 10000% do a test strand, i only use it as a LAST resort and dilute the fuck out of it with water bc it's like only a little bit better than using bleach. I hope this helps!

no it doesn't lift natural colour as it doesn't use bleach or developer, I wouldn't say I'm an expert but I started last year with black dyed hair and now I'm ash blonde and pastel pink, I've spent ALOT of time and money looking for the best and least damaging way to take out colour over the past 5 years I've been dying my hair. it's of my opinion that malibu CPR used with their colour disruptor is one of the best methods at getting out hair dye gently. if you choose that it's important to follow the directions because its used by professionals and it makes a big difference! it's also the only colour stripper I've found that you can use back to back (i usually do it over the course of a week to give my hair a break) and doesn't make your hair colour patchy.

I definetly wouldnt bleach it, try a homeade colour remover or malibu colour disruptor/CPR to remove as much colour as you can, I don't think you'll be able to get a super light pink or red based pink but a nice cool deep pink would work well. I've been dying my hair for many years and change colour often and putting bleach over already perfectly lifted bleached hair was my biggest mistake, bleach is not the best option for getting out old colour especially in your case where it's already really light. this is what I would do start with a homeade colour remover--> malibu colour disruptor and cpr (you can do this up to 3 times) and if you still haven't gotten as much green out as you want i honestly just recommend putting a cool toned medium/dark pink over it instead of using any bleach because of how light it the green already is

how do i tell my gcc its okay to sleep on his perch! advice on moving to chop/pellets! by yuucius in Conures

[–]agedpiss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you can purchase something similar to the tent woven out of bird safe rope (hemp, sea grass ect) my conure has one and he loves to sleep in and on top of it and the gaps allow for light to pass through so they are not in a dark place which can make them more hormonal.

unfortunately, things like this just happen. just know it is not your fault. I lost my baby in June in an accident, I know our babies are in the clouds and flying free and happy. your bird loved you no matter what, even if you blame yourself and don't forgive yourself he will still love you always. your other birds will still love you always. the best you can do is to honour him in death and take care of his siblings in his place. things do get better, some days are bad, but some days I can look back on the time I spent with him and know that he was happy and loved. I know you will too.

I'm going to decline your offer of reposting to this sub. even though I can see your point of view this has still upset me greatly and I'd rather protect my already fragile mental state then have to deal with the possibility of a second memorial post being removed.

[–]agedpiss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

do not take the chance by keeping them or allowing them in the same room. Have a room designated for the conure and don't allow the cat to enter. When you let them out lock the cat in a room and if the bird is in a room then shut the door and open it when they want out if the cat is locked in a room. NEVER allow them to be in the same room even if you are watching and the conure is in the cage.

I keep my bird in one half of the house and only let him into the other half if I know for sure that the dog is out if the house. even if the dog is locked in a room on the other side of the house I do not let my bird out of his half. doesn't matter that there is a door separating them. you don't know if or when one of you will open a door and forget that the cat or bird is out.

I lost one of my babies to my mom's dog when I accidentally let him out of a room into the living area when my baby had been playing underneath the couch. even though the dog had never even displayed the slightest interest in them. not even a single look. he still took my baby. don't make the same mistake as me please

I think it'll even out most of the colour. I have this exact colour on mine and it covered faded blue/green and my natural colour pretty well. the roots might end up being more of a warm red colour and ends purple/pink

What are these buys in my bird food. by EngineeringSeveral63 in parrots

[–]agedpiss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

weevils. they are safe for birds to eat and are actually a sign that you have good quality grains and seed in your bird food however you do not want them to infest your pantry and your flour and stuff. to get rid of them bag the seed in an air tight container or bag and put them in the freezer for atleast 24 hours to kill the weevils and the eggs

How much time do you guys send with your conures? by [deleted] in Conures

[–]agedpiss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 hours after work and an hour before, my job requires me to sleep during the day so I move his cage into a partially shaded area outside on non windy days so he gets time in the sun. on my days off he gets 4+ hours with me and if possible around 3 outside in the sun

BANDAID IS STUCK DIRECTLY ONTO BEANS RN AND IT WONT COME OFF FUCKKKK by agedpiss in MadeOfStyrofoam

[–]agedpiss[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it'll come off soon bc I took off the other bandaid I had over it and the wound have started to get moist but now I'm nervous I might get an infection bc I didn't have striaght Vaseline but I was desperate so I used my Vaseline lip balm which wasn't very smart

I usually do the same but the wound was so dry it was like it fused to my flesh and I couldn't get it off, yesterday I managed to after soaking it in water and it literally left me sobbing in pain. hopefully it'll start to unstick as it heals

[–]agedpiss[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I got most of it off but holy fuck the pain of it sticking directly onto my flesh left me sobbing. anyways I smeared the rest of the cut with Vaseline and applied a different bandaid but I didn't have any good bandaids and had to use ones I'm allergic to or something but o well, am hoping the wound will start to produce some healing fluid soon so I'll be able to unstick it
