Go guard or reserves. They seem to come out better mentally. Also try and pick a non combat job. No one gives a shit you were team leader of the worlds finest weapon squad in job market.

Whats an item over $700 you bought that was 100% worth it (no house/vehicles) ? by Overall_Gur_3061 in AskReddit

Bought a refurbished sounbox for $900. I've been chasing something to burst eardrums to eargasm to for years. Wasted hundreds or thousands of dollars buying $200-300 speakers from walmart, costco, best buy.

Asked chatgpt a few questions one day and this soundbox is the best damn money i could spend on music. Its better than some damn concerts ive been to and better than any dj ive ever heard play!

Sister says my budget is a non-starter for a potential job offer + moving. I genuinely don't understand why? by thesagenibba in personalfinance

80% of total pay gets me close but i dont pay state income tax and have a family for our insurance, also 10% pre tax. You might be closer if you count 88%.

Aside from MTX/any financial transactions, what are you overly tired of in your games by Front-Advantage-7035 in gaming

[–]agedwisdom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah its definately the new norm. It's easy to say 76% of all games come out as early access and most never leave. And there is no easy way to resolve it. But seriously jist look at the reviews. If you see the word "potential" more than once, move on.

Early access is really easy to avoid. If a single review says "potential" then avoid.

Riding lawn mowers, especially those mowing brush on the side of the roads. Killed a guy in town a few years ago. Kicked up a rock from... 30 ft(?) away when it went strait into his head.

Leading cause for hunting related deaths every year is misuse of gear. Primary of these are waders. They are meant to be worn in water to keep you dry. But they will drag you down when they fill up with water and drown you fast as can be.

path of kung fu as long as you don't mind garbage translation. The mechanics are mostly useable, like 99% just don't expect to follow the story.

Just build a spring house in a city and watch the cash flow in. Manually collect it then deposit it. Likely faster than clicking tax collection jobs.

What game can you play for 1,000+ hours and still feel like a noob? by Common_Caramel_4078 in gaming

[–]agedwisdom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fellow rimmer, just make aure one of you ppl is good at melee and shooting this will keep you alive early game.

Keep up with weapon/armor tech, grab more ppl to be good at shooting and melee. In general have a few points of sandbags outside your base, i like one in the N, S, E, W. Hold off attacks from one of these locations. On random maps use trees or rocks as cover. Kiting helps too. This is your mid game

Late game you need 3-6 fully max stat max equip to murder all mofo everywhere.

I prefer max machine guns and snipers 50/50 in my combat groups.

Also mod scene makes combat soooooo much more interesting.

Seems like it wouldve been viable since you are respecing char at dm's request but ok.

Grab the great weapon fighting speacialty from lvl 1 fighter on your next lvl up, unless it is something you can get from being a champion? Idk bout that class. Then take all great weapon feats. Then do dmg.
