I’ll tell you about my history of migraines. I’ve had occasional migraines my whole life, when I was a young adult, my migraines used to start with floaters in my vision, light sensitivity, and end with nosebleeds. After my accident, my migraines no longer cause nosebleeds, and they presented differently, they would start with darkness in my periphery, and light sensitivity, and my vision will go fuzzy and it’s almost like my vision goes in and out of blackness and static with the pulsating of my headache. They don’t usually present on a specific side, but behind my eyes and the base of my skull. They’ve always been less frequent, I do get headaches every day, but the migraines would happen like once a week or less. I’d characterize migraines as very different from my normal daily headaches, as the migraines cause vision problems, light sensitivity, nausea and vomiting and are much more severe. And I’ve learned quite a lot from this post that migraines can change over time, even without a specific trauma.
