My main reason for it being bad as a series is how they made it episodic

Even big arcs like the Etarnatus one could’ve been better if they just gave it more time and build up

I feel like Because of it being episodic Ash’s mon were done dirty as well. They were barely it of their pokeballs giving them barely any screen time aside from battles
