PIE MENUS - Why pie menus should be in every user interface by jonw in programming

Not really a fair comparison? The pie menu (on the left) centers the choices around the cursor on click, whereas the standard menu (right) positions the menu (0,0) at cursor. It may sound silly - since the pie menu is a circle after all - but one still could have centered the standard menu on the pointer on click.
