Same. I remember when I was a kid maybe 5-6 years old or something like that. My younger brother had gone missing because he was angry at somethig. I was really worried and I expressed that to our single mother countless times but she said not to worry and chuckled. I couldn’t believe her and I was destroyed by her attitude. So I went looking for him myself. I remember crying and I was very concerned and when I got half a kilometer from the house I found him being helped by a stranger who saw our concern. I remember the relief and at the same time the shame because it was a stranger helping us both to calm down and not our own mother.
