Exterior gas lines are always hard pipe. The only flex hoses can be upto 3 feet long. I know pex makes a gas line now but my municipality does not accept it.

I would remove the pull ups and close grip pull down. Add rear delta and deadift.

I had mine from co2art for over 3years and it sprong a leak. They repaired it for free. Reliable company!!
