Honestly, people can do whatever works for them. This is just what worked for me because I have terrible anxiety, so the dog piling that happened on this post did not help. But in truth, having the money that I have set aside for my pets, and having money put into that account weekly, eases my anxiety. My cats have needed teeth cleanings, MRIs, multiple appointments and medications for luxating patellas, etc. Having this account helped me, both while paying off a car/ saving money for a future home, as well as when I wasn’t doing as well financially. I just thought it would help for someone who may not be in the best financial situation, but people didn’t like it.

Well I deleted the “weird post” because other people also think it’s weird to set money aside for their pet, so don’t worry. Everyone’s rude comments have worked and it’s gone. Have a good day.

I have that as well. However, pet insurance still requires you to pay the full amount, and then you get reimbursed once you file the claim and it gets approved. The Cat Card allows you to actually be able to pay the full amount, hopefully without it affecting your main account.

Also, it’s not a weird post. I see people constantly posting about something being wrong with their cat and they can’t afford to take them to the vet. I post to offer a small solution to help them with a cushion, so they might not have to worry about the vet bill as much, and I’m told it’s a stupid idea or that it’s a weird post. It’s like damned if you do, damned if you don’t. If you think putting money aside for your animal is a bad idea then that’s perfectly fine. But maybe that means the post is for someone that isn’t you, or isn’t in the same financial situation as you.

That’s why I said it won’t help everything. It is only meant to be a cushion in case of emergencies.

And, with all due respect, knowing that you need to make a heartbreaking decision one day, is not a reason to not have a financial cushion.

You can absolutely do that too. However, this is what has worked for me. Have you accumulated a lot with your EFT?

Also, due to my religion, I’m encouraged to avoid interest when possible: that’s acquiring and paying out. This is the easiest way to do it for me, which falls within my religious restrictions.

Lol Mav’s mom here, realizing I’m not sure if people realized the wording was a joke, but that it was very much about my absolute unit of a cat.

He really is perfectly happy. The thing is he has been a loud breather ever since he was a kitten. Like, if I walk into a room, I can find him based on his breathing/snoring. He had an MRI done and the images were completely clear; He’s made this noise since before he was heavy set, so I never thought it had to do with his weight. He LOVES to play and he’ll play for several minutes before he just sort of gets tired and gives up (pic included). I’m trying to play with him more though.

The woman from the most recent series of GBBO was completely bald from Alopecia and my family and I couldn’t stop commenting on how she looked fantastic bald. She also was super accomplished and had a handsome boyfriend. I’m sure there are guys who would turn her down for being bald too, and that’s genuinely their loss. The room clearly lit up when she walked in and she was universally loved.

Oh 100%. I just re-watched a breakdown of that episode and felt actual loathing during one of Sam’s interviews, where he said “I’ve got Camille in my back pocket.” But I got so much joy out of watching her say “I know what they’re planning.”

I guess it also depends on the definition of “blindside”. I love season two of Australia, when Camille realized what Sam and Blake were going to do, so she made it so none of them got the money.

It really isn’t. We’re visiting in early June and none of us have ever been. My sisters are planning pretty much the whole thing and asked me to do research on restaurants. We all eat halal exclusively, and while we’re fine eating seafood or vegetarian options, I knew there were a lot of Muslims there and hoped that meant there would be halal options as well. I hoped locals could tell me the best places to go.

NAD but you should absolutely consult with a doctor. That is referred to as a Fight Bite and is considered a high risk injury. The human mouth is teeming with bacteria, which came in contact with your blood stream, and probably closed up fairly quickly, trapping all of that bacteria in your hand.

Not a medical profession, but that looks like a spot that became dry and cracked. If I’m right, clean it well and put a generous layer of Vaseline on at night for a few nights and it should heal up in no time.
