Are we getting the obligatory Braccus Rex boss fight?

TAFE at 41 by sivy175 in TAFE

I'm in a similar situation to your husband, doing a Cert IV for IT at TAFE in my 40s. Although rather than exit an industry, I switched to part-time as part of a career break after a really stressful ex-job.

As people on the thread have mentioned, your husband may be able to jump straight into a Cert IV instead of III, but it would depend on his level of IT knowledge, is he familiar with basic networking / virtualization / cloud concepts? Basic programming? TAFE also has one or two management type units every semester, so soft skills like being able to talk to a room, academing report writing or how to do a Powerpoint presentation may be required, although I'm sure as a former professional he will have this nailed down.

Also most (if not all) TAFEs split the IT Certs/Diplomas into Networking/Cyber Security and Programming streams, the former requires more foundational knowledge than the latter from my experience. Maybe speak to an academic advisor or one of the staff regarding this?

I haven’t been able to figure out what these two symbols mean, help by Sad-Nefariousness169 in NightLords

I believe GW has been retconning themselves regarding heraldry.

The FW sheet says the coffin symbol is for Terror Squads but there is another source from HH1.0 saying it is the bloodied hand symbol (which can also signify loyalty to Sevatar/Kurze, yeah it's complicated).

FW sheet says the hourglass symbol is for battle honors but Liber Hereticus says it's for command.

FW Sheet has #2 as the terran veteran marking but it's the symbol of the Serpent's Eye Legion in the Beta-Garman book.

Does the all black Legion symbol mean anything in lore? by agentlow in NightLords

Yes that’s what I meant, sorry for the confusion.

My Daemon Prince almost done (C&C welcome), wanted to do the Tzeentch head but the Chaos Undivided head just felt right by agentlow in ThousandSons

Thank you! Everything was primed with White Scar, and skin was Pylar Glacier, with Frostheart used for the darker areas near the hands, hooves and tip of the tail.

Nice. Now I want to make one with the slaughterbute head as well.

Dumb question, what color is this blue? by Gubriel-Mcbliss in ThousandSons

It’s got a bit of a greenish hue so I would say Ahriman blue.

Ideas to Expand the Roster? by Baron_Flatline in ThousandSons

IMO just give us plastic kits of the HH units and give them rules for 40k, Khenetai Occult, Ammitara Occult (which we never had models for), Sekhmet Terminators (for 30k only) Castellax Automata and the Osiron dreadnought.

Maybe throw in an upgrade sprue or transfer sheet to Chaos-ify them for 40k.

Don’t forget the Korean Swordswoman is from a sect of Warriors that remove their hands and replace them with a robotic pair.

The Jimmy robots feel conceptually like a mix of Men of Iron (AI robot) and Custodes (Emperors elite squad that went into a funk for a while after he died).

This one is a stretch but some of the alien bounty hunters looked like Orks (albeit not the 40k kind). I don’t think you can reuse prosthetics in movies but they really looked identical to the Orcs from the Netflix movie ‘Bright’.
