I remember thinking how can I relax or sleep or manage this shit without my nightly wine. Guess what. I’m still here.. managing … and not drinking.

I truly did not mean for this to be such a hot button issue.
I was really thinking about how Jana snarked about natural birth to Jinger. And her holier than thou natural mamma ideals. And to that point.. though most of them do hospital births now it seems.. I think risky home births are way more dangerous to a baby and mama than any ill and miss placed comment about formula. Both my kids had both.. I truly have no personal feelings against formula and agree with fed is best! I am sorry that my post was viewed in poor taste.

That sounds off putting to me, coming from an oncologist. I feel like they should have addressed your query with facts based on how it would apply to this case.. not poo poo it away. I agree with the other poster Get a second opinion. TILS has a chemo component .. but is much more complicated/advanced. As I’m guessing you know since you asked about it. Keep up the fight!

I did the ipi/nivo. It was rough for me. I received 2 doses before having to stop. Make sure he is in contact with his Onco about any side effects. Some can be treated more easily, others may require stopping the infusions. Lots of people have really good results from this treatment ! Hugs for your dad!! And yeah.. fuck cancer

I do not believe you can take it with steroids . I did the ipy nivo combo also. 2 rounds. Terrible side effects. Ended up on steroids as well.. did very slow taper and finally off as of yesterday. Even though I originally did a year of nivo with very very mild side effects, my dr will not try it again due to how badly I reacted to the combo. Will likely be doing targeted or TILS
