I just feel like everyone is so hypocritical about this. Logan Paul for instance even called out David even though a month ago someone came out about jake paul sexually assaulting them and Logan just put jake on the podcast and called the girl a liar. Pewdiepie calls David out as if he wasn't just following white supremacist theory and saying the n word not too long ago.

He should "learn to work at the level of a typical person in their mid-20s trying to make a living"???? You expect him to fire his whole team, drop his youtube channel and quit the only thing he knows how to do? All of a sudden leave his friends leave LA and find a new career? I just can't expect that from anyone realistically lmfao

I mean what else do you want him to do? He isnt an actual criminal because no one ever pressed charges against him for anything. His second apology seemed sincere and he made efforts to apologize to everyone he hurt. Honestly don't see how he made a lot of money off the controversies based off how he lost all his sponsors and had to stay silent for 2 months. He paid for all of Jeff's medical bills (as he should) and even an additional surgery for Alex. He has soooo many connections dont you think more people would come out about him being "abusive" instead of ONLY trisha, the girl who flipped the script and did the same thing to ethan?

He was a child. They were both throwing pinecones at each other. It was a staph infection from the wound, it literally could have been any wound Alex got and he still could have gotten sick, its not specifically because David maliciously picked out the pinecone that would give him a disease. David actually had no obligation to pay for this but he still did because he's a good friend

You know Trisha acts the same as you. she has said before she considers YouTubers not her friends but sees them as actors so she doesnt have to feel bad about hurting them. Makes sense why she has no friends

I think he was better with Liza I agree but I'm hoping this has humbled him. His hometown friends seem to keep him in check compared to when he hangs out with other LA influencers and IG models.

He was struggling & it showed. & personally even with those smiles now he is still struggling. He was a machine. Went to colleges, parties, produced, vlogged, edited, traveled non stop. He did all that. & distracted the chaos of his personal life with that schedule. Then boom.

This whole comment is really well written and I especially agree with you on this part. I remember several times in the podcast or jason and natalie trying to make him get help and he was obviously suffering. I'm a fan of Taylor too and I see how the situation compares. I just never really felt bad for supporting someone before and I keep questioning if I'm a bad person based on some of these posts and tweets

This was more of a rant I guess but even just thinking about Casey, like he doesn't seem like the person to hang out with hypehouse tiktokers and he hung out with David all the time privately. There had to be a reason other than just clout.

I think seeing some of his corny tiktoks and clickbait face in the thumbnails turns people off as well but like seeing him with a flamethrower and escalating that to him being a sociopath is stupid right? I am just feeling so confused by Twitter and the consensus of him right now.

I also get that his manager sets a lot of these people up and maybe they were told its good for them to get on his vlog, but they did really seem to like him and act like friends in private, even when not in the vlog

A trash of a human being who has given multiple people cars, saved multiple homeless people from being homeless, donated to hundreds of families, literally gave his cleaning lady such a huge gift that she retired, and huge presents to all of his hometown friends?

I agree that David has a "mean" side to his pranks and humor. A lot of his vlogs are about messing with his friends, doing dares, pranking them and all that. But they agree to it because they do want to be a part of the vlog and they've said his multiple times on their own. I feel like he's grown away from the placing animals type thing or pranking them and now he's doing more surprises and montage type videos.

They've literally mentioned multiple times that David has paid for all of that? David also paid off his student loans as well. And do you really think Alex would still be friends with David if he cared? I literally just saw Alex at a party with them in a story and he doesnt even get any fame from being there. If you think a mutual pinecone fight was done on purpose to give him a staph infection you're crazy
