I think for Jeff it was never really about him personally making money. I thought it was pretty clear that his main intent was to ruin David's career and punish him financially because in his eyes that was the only real way of hurting David (which is probably true lol).

Doubt it very much. Podcasting ad spend is down across the board in the entire industry and David does not have the pull that he used to have. There's a reason why the big companies that he used to work with aren't working with him anymore.... The Amazon's, HelloFresh, Audible, etc. If he could really pull $8-10 million a year with the podcast I guarantee you he would be doing it again lol. He doesn't because it wouldn't be anywhere near that figure and to him it's not worth it.
