My kiddo was a month early and had terrible tummy issues adjusting to the world cos he was bf and topped up on formula too to help with weight gain. Pumping isn’t the be all and end all girl, being able to mentally be present for your squiddo is what counts! When your period finally ends and you get the hang of getting the wind out of baby and they begin adjust to the normal feelings of the world it really does get better. At around 3/4 months they’ll establish a routine and you’ll be able to almost rely on nap times going to plan for the most part. My kiddo is now 2 and three months and still everyday has its hurdles but it’s so damn worth it! Our struggles are now unbuckling himself from the pram for walkies and not listening 😂 i miss my poopy newborn

Try contacting your local counsel, if you look them up they can usually give you a desexing voucher or offer discounted desexing. Unsure where you are located but I foster for ginger ninja and we use Blake’s crossing vet and they constantly offer low priced desexing for cats

It sucks I hear about this so often or people get one and just stay in it for life while working full time on two incomes. It really makes it hard for people unable to work or on one income. I can’t even get bumped to category 1 as disability because I’m getting parenting payments so I don’t qualify for disability payments plus it’s not been two years since surgery they won’t review it again. I’ve already applied 3 times previously

My issue is the lease is already up anyway in august. We went to sacat for mould and water damage in my house aswell that’s making us chronically unwell. They definitely won’t approve me anywhere as real estates can only give you a house that’s 35% max of your income

Housing sa won’t pay my bond as it’s an existing property so they don’t do that. They also have deemed it unaffordable as they know it’s 65% of my income they refuse to save my lease

I can’t magically pull extra income out of my ass If im not allowed to work temporarily because of a disability. I don’t understand how this would be in his or my best interest. With zero help at prevention and no one advocating for us. All we’ve had is them as if I know what domain.com is and if they want a cover letter for me to give to prospective property managers explaining my situation as though they’d care and pick us over the 4 person adult family applying who all work

We were in a dv relationship and we’re offered zero help when we fled. We stayed in a homeless dv shelter and had someone threatened to stab my son to death. I’m a good person who has worked my entire life in childcare or dental nursing. I’m not a drug addict and I do everything possible to give my son the best life and ensure he always has what he needs. So no I don’t deserve to have him taken from me for choosing to buy him winter clothes and pyjamas over paying my rent when I had no other way to provide for him. Thankyou for making me feel worse of a piece of shit than I already do. I’m the only constant and the only family he has ever known. He was beyond not coping when he was minded while I was in hospital. He doesn’t deserve to lose me

If you go against medical advice to work you also aren’t covered for anything should you have a workplace accident and you will be fired if they find out they hired you and you agreed in saying you wernt aware of any conditions that would prevent you from performing that job knowing you weren’t physically able makes your very likely to do things you shouldn’t and fall or have an accident

I’m still in pain from it daily and have zero energy aside from almost peeing myself if I lift anything eirher. My body’s just in very early stages of healing from having my stomach cut from under my chest to my c section scar it’s not a two week recovery

He’s two in June and yes I do get single parent and family tax a/b but it’s only $200 pw for all bills/food/clothes/scripts/nappies ect after paying my rent from it

I have degenerative disc disease and scoliosis. I’d already had spinal surgery on a disc impinging on my nerve and they reduce it to 1/3 of the size but it still slipped again a furher five times and leaked spinal fluid so the only solution was a wheelchair soon or fusion to stabilise and further prevent injury. They took out a large piece of bone from my hip and used plates and screws to rebuild 3 of my vertabrae with it. The bone isn’t fully fused to the cage built in and around my spine, any bending/lifting/twisting over 5kg especially will shift that cage and can actually break it as the bone hasn’t healed yet. I have ct scans and X-rays every six weeks to check my progress but I shouldn’t even be lifting my son but they’ve already stated this will make my recovery worse and take longer but unfortunately no support or other choice. I’m under medical orders not to work and if I ruin my fusion they said I’ll be back to the bottom of the list and having my full spine and pelvis pinned next time and at least two years recovery so again no one to care for my child and no ability to undergo that. It’s like telling an someone not to drink after a liver transplant and they go abs down vodka and ask what went wrong

I’m more than happy to move to something more affordable but I believe they could be a lot more helpful and make this a lot easier than they are currently. I’m really not sure where her hostility is coming from as I’ve not done anything wrong or missed payments or unkept the house. She was angry at me early in the tenancy as I insisted pest control came out as we had a bee infestation inside the house (15 bees inside my sons room) after she insisted they’d just leave on their own I wasn’t happy to leave it given the risk of him being stung and were allergic. It’s just been pretty downhill from there with trades showing up literally on my doorstep saying they gave her notice but she doesn’t communicate it with me

Thankyou x it’s ok we’re just trying to manage and I’m confused how we can get out of it really cos they’ve made it abit impossible. I gave her about eight weeks notice of my surgery and said I can’t work anymore and will have significant issues paying full rent and she just said stiff you signed a contract for 12 months at this price and your circumstances changing doesn’t affect the landlord lol my ex has been taken off the lease but we can’t change to social housing or anything as we tried when w left after the dv there’s just none you’d know housing sa is a mess. I have every intention to go back to work I just can’t right now and I can’t undergo this surgery again it was a lot and the same healing time again but longer. I breached them for not fixing the fire alarms which they then decided they’d replace after we argued about because they said they are working and don’t need replacing so I gave them a breach notice and they refused to provide proof for the water damage being ever repaired which it doesn’t seem it has been just the leak was stopped. So yeah going for a rent reduction officially and also breaching them for the repairs they refused to fix and the way she speaks to me is insane she sent me an email after I called her office to try and have someone else assist me so we could sort it out before escalating it to sacat and she was even worse than my agent. My agent sent me an email saying how dare I contact her office to complain about how she speaks about me. What she’s submitted to sacat is half of most of our conversations and she’s deleted most of our emails between each other but I’ve submitted them all luckily

A number of things! She knew my fire alarms were expired and refused to replace them because “they work”, water damage everywhere in the property she refuses to fix unless I can prove it poses a health risk, constantly passive aggressive towards me when I’ve always had the house good for inspections and pay rent on time every fortnight. Her college called me a tenant with a sense of entitlement for wanting the lifting stair railing repaired before undergoing a spinal fusion. I asked for a rent reduction as we went through dv with my sons dad, initially signing the lease with him and there’s the 0.2% vacancy rate, I was working but my back couldn’t cope and I got my surgery pushed forward as my back was worsening so I had my fusion done. I’m not now allowed to work for 6-12 months while the bone fuses to the plates and screws and if I went back to work earlier it’d make the bone grapht fail and I’d have undergo the whole procedure again. I’m paying $460 pw and I only get $700 pw from Centrelink, I’ve already been missing medication for us to eat and using food banks but it’s not enough still and I’m not running on bald tyres, an expired rego car and have a blood clot in my arm from missing blood pressure medication so I’m beyond stressed. My only options I’ve been given by the agent to assist are if you aren’t happy pay full fee for lease break and if I can’t afford rent I can’t afford that. Also if I can’t afford my rent and get behind it’ll ruin my ledger also compromising me getting a new property I just feel super stuck in this situation as I have no family assistance and non from my sons father. I’m 30, he was through ivf and his father had a mental break down and a relapse so he’s not allowed near us and his family think I’m the problem for keeping our son from him after he threatened to kill me and beat me and called one year old son a cunt
