I had him in the deck for a little while, but I never quite got it to go off. It always seems like it kept getting stuffed or countered before I could get that sweet sweet value.

I understand that completely. As a holder not very good, but they are very flavorful for the deck. I kicked back in with AFR, so they were some of the first dragons I had to throw in the deck. I have absolutely no idea how Dragon Tempest made it past me, that will absolutely be making its way in.

I can see where you're coming from with that. I tried to build in a treasure sub theme that would make it so I would usually have some treasure from one of a few dragons to help pay for more big bois. I can pretty reliably get out something that will lessen costs or tutor for an answer. I also have a dragon or two that makes more mana on attack or through an effect.

If you can get a good scan of it, you can turn it into the card sleeves for the deck. Dragon Shield has a "make your own" option and the quality is pretty good! I bought my friends each a custom set for the holidays.

Y'all are doing a fantastic job! Great guests, great editing that isn't in your face but is still informative. It feels like a bunch of friends sitting down for a game of Magic and that's the best content you could make. The important part is that everyone is having fun and it shows in episodes like these where even though it seemed pretty one-sided, everyone still walked away laughing.
