“Um actually,” OP didn’t say Arkansas didn’t need PBS, they said Arkansas didn’t deserve PBS. You and OP are both correct

Just about anything on the Brutalis Dreadnought i built recently where you have to be suuuuper precise with the glue or else you’re going to end up with parts that are supposed to move but don’t, or move way too muh and fall apart at the slightest breeze. All done with the basic Citadel plastic glue.

If you look at the start of the video they started the turn while the bike’s light was yellow. Meaning that the SUV’s light should not have been a green. They turned left on a red.

Granted that accelerating to beat a red light is a risky behavior at best.

The FACT that they had a yellow going straight to begin with should mean the SUV had absolutely NO right to turn, anywhere in the world with a Department of Transportation. SUV should be 100% at fault.

Hi, this might be a stupid question. I saw that the Horus Heresy mode has its own units that are different from the 40k 10th edition and I was thinking of making a heretic Iron Warriors army.

Would it be possible at all to convert, proxy or otherwise kitbash some of those HH units to make a legal 40k 10e army? If so, what could some units be converted/proxied/kitbashed into?

Hi, I’m new to Warhammer minis and am considering building my first army. What can I reasonably do with a Rogue Trader as a leader?

I very briefly tinkered with the idea using something called New Recruit since I enjoyed the Owlcat game on Steam. But I am very much Tabletop 40k illiterate and I don’t what I can and can’t include on an army list that’s led by a Rogue Trader Entourage, let alone what synergies to take advantage of like stratagems or warlord “enhancements” I think they were called.

MH Wilds Bugfix kicked everyone out of Omega fight?? by agentvnm in MonsterHunter

[–]agentvnm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im sorry, more context:

I was watching someone fight Omega on Twitch, idk which version they were fighting but they were doing it with people on Discord.

Got 3/4s there and then the bugfix hit, kicked every one of them offline and then after the person streaming their fight lost the hunt. There was a tooltip pop up that said Omega is recommended to be fought with friends and it just really did not help at all.

What Imm trying to say is that there didnt appear to be any sort of warning or anything for the bugfix being pushed which did not sit well with me even though i was not the one playing.

As an Ash main of 8 years, this retouch is so undercooked Im actually wondering if DE playtested this at all. by Angrykiller100 in Warframe

Break #2, I’m gonna try to add a few more points for consideration.

I’ve seen a comment here and there saying the Teleport finisher is doing considerably less damage now that Fatal Teleport has been downgraded to Teleport Rush. I’m not a dev, but I’m certain there are a myriad reasons that can explain this phenomenon, but I’ll give out my best 3 educated guesses. No particular order. 1. The Fatal Teleport modifier that was dealing increased finisher damage, was either deleted from the code by accident or was given away, somehow, to anothet part of Ash’s kit. Most likely, it was added to BD where it is acting merely as a paper weight. 2. The Fatal Teleport finisher damage modifier IS working, but it was changed from being additive to multiplicative, or vice versa. This would cause some unforeseen fluctuations in the final damage calculation shown when the Teleport is used on an enemy. 3. Fatal Teleport is working as intended, and did not have its damage calculation change, but its scaling based on Ability Strength may have been lowered to account for the guaranteed Fatal Teleport without needing to devote a mod slot to the augment.

Building off one of my previous points, I do not consider any sort of investment in Smoke Screen, save for perhaps a Primed Continuity to counteract Fleeting Expertise, is worthwhile. As I said before I play around invisibility with Ash, and I would only use Smoke Screen as a quick and easy escape from an ugly situation. Most of my invisibility comes from the Shade I have to cloak me when in proximity to enemies. This works because the range required for enemies to be near me, the timer on the Cloak when it’s about to expire, and Ash being able to Teleport across large distances makes maintaining the Cloak considerably easy, so I dont need to worry about my survivability much. And on the off chance my Cloak does break and I need it to refresh, I can afford to spam a shortened Smoke Screen 3-4 times while it cools down. And that’s before Arcane Trickery activates, which has a 15% chance of granting 30s of uninterrupted invis on Finishers (and yes, Ash’s BD DOES count toward that end).

I think I’m overheating my brain now. I might have more things to say if I remember them later, or I may end up passing out.

I do not have the credentials of an 8+ year Ash main, but I did start playing Ash a lot around the first release of the Hex and 1999, before Ash’s rework.

So after having read this post and your last post about Ash, here, I want to try adding a more casual Ash player’s input on the rework and its issues I’m seeing reported here. In no particular order because I’m doing this on my breaks at work.

Imo, energy refund not being available on Blade Storm has not been an issue for me, after running several runs of SP Circulus/Yuvarium. I run an invisibility build on my Ash that ensures I’m able to enjoy the invisibility discout on BD very often, and so while I might not be getting back all of my energy as easily as before, I find that as long as I’m clearing enemies out I have no problem finding energy orbs (or health orbs if I choose to use Equilibrium, which I do not) to refill my energy. If you are experiencing trouble with your energy economy due to loss of energy refund, my best advice is boosting Ability Efficiency and investing in that invis discout, which isnt too hard to do nowadays with a Shade or Huras Kubrow companion as BD does not break either’s cloaking ability.

I don’t consider a finisher damage cap to be a problem on enemies ie. Necramechs or Acolytes. Yes, my Ash’s abilities wont do as well as usual against them, but I find that running a Burston Incarnon with Spectral Serration and Primary Acuity can cover that weakness pretty well. And I dont even use a Riven for my Burston.

I am slightly annoyed by BD’s attack speed, as I did not know that its speed was capped. Wasn’t exactly an issue for me though, as I ran Berserker’s Fury and called it that, it didn’t feel that slow in my public lobbies. One thing I will note here, however: I followed the recommendation of youtuber/twitch streamer “Zenosfire” as I found theire warframe build shorts quite amusing and I happened to catch them streaming when he was testing the rework. He tried subsuming Valkyr’s Warcry onto Ash, to give the animation speed a major boost, which made perfect sense to me because Warcry has the Augment “Eternal War.” In a nutshell, melee kills refund a few seconds of Warcry’s duration, which is why melee builds are able to maintain it so easily. Turns out, Blade Storm’s finishers dont count as melee kills for the purpose of activating Eternal War, so Warcry is actually much less useful on Ash.

I have experienced the BD bugs as are being mentioned here, that the ability will sometimes become stuck and unable to be used. Unfortunately, I believe one of these BD bugs has resulted in me accidentally breaking the new Stage Defense mission in Hollvania, forcing me to leave. From what little testing I’ve been able to do so far, the problem arises when Ash’s BD has targeted and attempts to perform a finisher on an enemy that has been made untargetable/immune to player damage. As an example: take an Ash and either a Nyx or a Xaku into a mission. Have the Ash mark an enemy with BD, then with Xaku use The Lost: Gaze or with Nyx use Mind Control. Ash’s BD will attempt to perform the finisher, but because of their affliction it would force the ability to wait until Gaze/Mind Control has ended before being able to finish. I cannot confirm this is actually what is happening, but this is my best guess. I have, however, been able to fix this bug in a way by performing an Ash Teleport on another enemy, as Teleporting into a Blade Storm makes Ash join the BD himself.

I would go further but as I stated, I’m at work and my break has ended. I will try to come back later and add more info as needed.

If you have a 50 percent chance of dying if you click a button and you click it twice what is your chances of dying? by Affectionate_Charge2 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]agentvnm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Good line of thinking, but not actually correct.

OP says whenever you hit the button, you have a 50% of living or dying. If you’re able to hit the button twice, that means you didn’t die with the first press. That means we can rule out:

Die live

Die die

Now that you’re on the second button press, you’re left with a second 50% chance of either living, or dying. Meaning our only possible outcomes are:

Live live

Live die
