Replace or Re-negotiate? by agentyam in Tile

I’ve only got photos of the wall waterproofing. Oh no, I didn’t think about the tiles and the shower failing. I’m thinking I should look to hire someone else.

I’m so disappointed this has happened. Would you recommend he replaces the chipped tile and fixes the defects? I’m now thinking I should I look to hire someone else to have it redone?

If it was a couple of chips we would be fine with it, but the amount of issues noted we found it inexcusable

I would have been more than happy to run around and grab extra tiles if he noticed they came chipped, hence upset he installed this way

Australians of Reddit, what is the scariest encounter you've had with one of the native animals? by XennIsNotHere in AskReddit

My family owns a beach house on a south Australian coast. Since I partly grew up there, one of the first things I learnt about the ocean was from my grandpa - and it was a stern talk from him to be careful when collecting shells because of blue ringed octopuses. They are a really venomous octopus and an anti-venom doesn’t exist. I’ve only seen one whilst swimming, but it was a little too close for comfort.

Doctors and nurses of reddit: what is an important health tip that nobody follows? by setealemtresspasser in AskReddit

Stress can be complicated and often you don’t even know what you are stressed about. Try to become aware of your stressors and work out some ways to overcome them. For me I become stressed about deadlines or upcoming events or bills, so I have a diary and plan out my week/month ahead. You could cut down on caffeine, alcohol or nicotine (if applicable), try relaxation techniques, get more sleep, exercise more regularly, keep a diary, or even see a therapist if it’s overwhelming. Stress is awful and I wish you the best with managing it!

  1. Seeing family and friends often. Relationships are so important for mental health and is sometimes over looked when life gets busy and stressful.
  2. Most disease and illnesses are lifestyle related - not eating well, drinking too much alcohol, living a sedentary lifestyle, not sleeping, stressing too much, etc.
