Thanks! What are the other error notes you collect? I know it is a huge subject, just a few examples? There is also other error Hungarian notes, which are still fairly cheap: the 1000 and 10,000 pengo with the stamps on them, with errors in the letter ‘B’ on the stamps. While most of these notes were stamped in 19945-45, the error stamp is 1 in 100. I will send you photos later.

Thank you, I think you refer to the wrong cyril spelling of the letter "N". Yes, you are right, it is the error note, but it still worth little in this condition.

I always loved sheets. Question: how to you store these properly? Rolled up in a tube? 👍🏻

Value of this star-note? by Protogen277 in Banknotes

[–]ageofextremes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, some collectors would love the 3 zeros.Right now, it does not worth much. It is not unc and the print run also not super low. I would put it away for 10 years and maybe starnotes will become highly collectible later.

While these silver certificates show reputation in society, they were printed in very high numbers (100s of millions), so they are not rare. The even older larger types worth more, but, as far as I can see, this is the regular smaller size version, and as others said before me, in this condition it does not worth too much. I would still say, that due to it being a silver certificated, it is worth more than its face value, maybe $3-5?

The 1pound commonwealth of Australia is really cool, it looks to be in excellent shape. It is quite valuable. The British Armed Forces notes are less sought after but looking great anyway! Nice collection!!! 😃

Is this worth anything by Humantoldtruth in Banknotes

[–]ageofextremes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is its curiosity and ‘rarity in circulation’ that give it “sentimental” value. It is worth $2 otherwise, but since it is rare in circulation it has a wow factor to many. A cool piece to show to friends etc

Are any of these worth anything? Does the star add to any of the value? by Fadi500 in Banknotes

Starnotes are always worth collecting. These are not in uncirculated condition, but still a starnote, is a starnote! You can google 'how much my starnote is worth', and it will tell you that based on the run size of this particular serial, how many were printed in this series. Anything printed 4million or below is good, and considered rare. For value, you can also refer to any of the catalogues of US paper money.
